A year of building · Atlanta

A website you run from your phone.

I build custom websites for bands, restaurants and small businesses, with a back office you run from your phone. Everything happens in writing.

Change it in your hand. It changes on the site.

Every site comes with a back office built for a phone. This is a working sample: flip a switch on the left and watch the site on the right.

How a launch runs, in five steps

  1. Brief: You tell me what you run. A few lines in writing. Photos and words come later.
  2. Proposal: A plan with a price and a date. What's included, a fixed price and a launch date, in writing before work starts.
  3. Build: The pieces come together. Your site and the back office you'll run from your phone.
  4. Check: Every piece gets checked. Phone first, accessibility checked, a full launch check.
  5. Launch: Lift-off. Live on your domain, with a guide to your back office.

The past year

One year. Six launches.

Everything here I designed and built myself: my own artist site, a band’s site, a demo restaurant, and three apps of my own.

  1. Reytek's artist site on a phone: a dark home screen with the Reytek name and an Enter button
    My own artist site

    Reytek

reytek1201.com opens with sound and a turntable you can scratch and pitch. In its back office I upload a song and the site finds the beat, so the turntable moves in time.

    • Turntable
    • Beat finder
    • Timeline
    • Video channel
Open reytek1201.com (opens in a new tab)
  2. Funkharp's band site on a phone: the band name over a cream and teal home screen
    Band client

    Funkharp

Shows, a booking inbox that alerts the band's phones, a fan list, music and videos. The band changes all of it themselves.

Nutrition and training in one place: calories and macros, fasting, Apple Health sync, and Coach Key, a coach you can just text.

    SlidePress

Type an idea, get a slide carousel with a voiceover. Every slide gets an image, a headline and a script you can rewrite, in the voice you pick.

Questions

Short answers.

Who builds it?

I do, Reytek, one person in Atlanta. You write to me and I write back, so nothing gets handed between people.

Do we ever need to get on a call?

No. The brief, the proposal and all feedback happen in writing. If you'd rather see something walked through, I can record a short screen video.

Can I really change things from my phone?

Yes. The back office is built for a phone screen first. Try the sample above: it is the same kind of back office you would get.

How much does it cost?

Band sites start at $900 and restaurant sites at $1,500, each with a monthly care plan. The price is fixed in your written proposal before work starts. The full list is on the pricing page.

How long does it take?

Your proposal states a launch date in writing. Most of the time goes to gathering your photos and words.

What do I need to send you?

To start, just the form below. Later I'll ask for your photos, words and links, in writing, a little at a time.

Something else? Ask it in the form below.

Start a project

Tell me what you’re launching.

A few lines is enough. I reply in writing by the next business day. No sales calls.

I reply here and send you a copy of this form.

What are you launching?

A few lines in your own words. Up to 600 characters.

This helps me plan. Your proposal sets the real date.

No calls. You get an email copy of exactly what you sent. How I use what you send
